Honing skills to foster independence

In our nursing supported group home, we create unique caring programs that are dedicated to providing specialized and individualized support for members who are experiencing developmental disabilities. Because it is our goal to encourage a high level of independence, our members undergo various therapies and assistance that provide them with the skills they need to make them less reliant.

The group homes we have are residential facilities that have a small occupancy to make sure that each concern by every member is sufficiently addressed. With 24-hour care from trained caregivers, the conditions of individuals admitted to our care are closely monitored. Through the supported group home, we try to make the world and society more inclusive for those living with disabilities.

The skills we promote in our supported group home are:

  • Independence
  • Human Developmental Skills
  • Fine Motor Skills
  • Self-Help Skills
  • Gross Motor Skills
  • Cognitive Skills
  • Social Skills
